About the Cook-Offs |
|
The 2010 True Flavors Celebrity Cook-Offs feature two cooking teams competing against each other including a celebrity, local chef, and audience sous-chef (determined by live auction). Teams will have 35 minutes to make a specialty drink, appetizer, main course and dessert with secret ingredients they will only learn of moments before the contest. In addition to the celebrity cooking competition, the evening will feature raffles and a live auction, as well as a reception prior to the event.
Past stars have included comedian, Emmy winner, Kathy Griffin (who filmed the event for the 2006 season finale of her hit reality show My Life on the D-List), Oscar winner Marlee Matlin, Oprah Winfrey's personal Chef Art Smith, CNN Anchor Soledad O'Brien, and Top Chef judge Ted Allen.
