| Carol Sun Development Manager Carol comes to TrueChild from Southern California where she attended USC, and where she received a B.A in International Relations, and minor in Business. Before joining TrueChild, Carol worked over two years in development at Conservation International in Arlington, VA. She is committed to helping TrueChild build our support base to advance our mission.
Gina Reiss Executive Director
Gina Reiss has served as the Action Vice-President of NOW-NJ and Executive Director of NJLGC. Prior to her work with TrueChild, she was the Managing Director and Development Director of the Gender Public Advocacy Coalition for a decade. She is a graduate of UCLA with a degree in English Literature and minor in Women Studies. Gina is a proud mother of her three year old daughter, Dylan. |
Jae Chang Operations Manager
Jae Chang is a graduate of Rutgers University where she received her B.A in Political Science in May 2009.Although Jae changed her major last minute from Pharmacy, her political science undergraduate studies have strongly influenced her eventual move to DC and work with advocacy groups.
| Riki Wilchins Director of Research
Riki's work has been profiled in The New York Times and TIME Magazine selected her one of "100 Civic Innovators for the 21st Century" The author of three books on gender theory, Riki has been published in anthologies like Feminist Frontiers, Language Awareness, and The Encyclopedia of Identity and publications like The Village Voice and Social Text. She is very proud of her beautiful 3-year-old daughter. Interns

Alex Maher Alex hails from Nutley, New Jersey and is a senior at
Georgetown University. She is a Women's and Gender Studies major, a
Psychology minor, and a dedicated member of Georgetown's women's rugby
team. She has a been a development intern at TrueChild since January of
2009 and hopes to continue her non-profit work after graduation.
Camille Coleman
 Camille Coleman is an undergraduate senior at Hampton University, one of the most illustrious HBCU's (Historically Black College and University) in the United States. She is pursuing an undergraduate degree in Business Administration and Leadership Studies, and is in a five-year program to receive her MBA at the same institution. All her life, Camille has demonstrated a strong passion for children, animals, community service, and the well-being of others. Those passions combined provided for an idea to be acted upon and finding out about TrueChild provided for the vehicle in which to pursue her goals for herself and for all communities.
Curtis Harris
 Curtis Harris is a recent graduate of American University receiving a B.A. in International Studies in May of 2009. Th e focus of his undergraduate studies was the social and cultural relationship between the nations of North America. A native of Houston, Texas, Curtis currently works as a tour guide at President Lincoln’s Cottage in Washington, DC and seeks to eventually earn a master’s degree in Comparative Public Policy. Joy Wang is a recent graduate of Brown University receiving a M.A. in American Civilization with a focus of studies in Asian American history. She is passionate about helping people, volunteering and the well-being of people. Lowell Rudorfer Lowell Rudorfer is a senior philosophy major at American
University. His interests in gender and education and his passion for improving
children’s lives led him to TrueChild, where he assists with research and
whatever else is needed.
