Strengthening Gender Programming in PEPFAR

PEPFAR - the President's AIDS Initiative in Africa -- is one of the few US programs mandated to address gender. This in-depth report documents how PEPFAR has made gender equity central to their work and giving, creating shared understanding, evaluating and addressing program gaps, and helping US government staff working on gender to "better understand their role as gender focal persons."
